Attorney Christian Moreira brings a distinct advantage to every family law and criminal defense matter he handles: an insider’s understanding of how New Jersey courts operate. Before entering private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk in Essex County, where he gained firsthand insight into how judges think and how cases move through the system. He draws on that experience every day to be the strongest possible advocate for his clients.

As a family law attorney, Christian represents clients in a wide range of matters, including divorces, prenuptial agreements, restraining orders, child custody and support disputes, and other family-related proceedings. He understands the emotional toll these matters take on his clients and prides himself on being a voice of support and compassion. He incorporates this compassionate perspective into every aspect of his daily practice while fighting to secure the best possible outcome for each client.

Christian also defends clients in criminal matters, including indictable offenses, disorderly persons charges, DWI, and municipal court cases. His clerkship experience gives him a practical sense of how criminal cases proceed through the New Jersey courts, and he applies that knowledge to protect his clients’ rights, records, and freedom at every stage.

Christian also assists clients in filing name changes. This is an administratively rigorous process, and Christian gladly helps his clients every step of the way.

Growing up in Kendall, Christian is a Miami, Florida native. Though he misses home (and the food), Christian loves New Jersey and has made a life here. In his free time, Christian loves gaming, podcasts, and spending time with his wife and animal companions.
